I am here to help you find the best gardening gifts for men! Take these suggestions from me because I have and love all of the following products.

Gardening gifts for men pin

Whether for Christmas, birthday parties, or other occasions it can be hard to find the perfect high-quality gift. All of the below products I personally own, and a few I have even received as a gift.

I can personally say that all these gifts are high-quality and can really stand the test of time. I am sure that the green thumb in your life would love to have any of these products!

Original Maine Garden Hod

The Maine Garden Hod is a well built gardening basket that can be used to carry everything from vegetables to tools. You can read my full review about the Maine Garden Hod here. I love mine and I think any man would love to use this in his garden.

Barebones Hori Hori Garden Knife

The hori hori knife originated in Japan as a gardening tool. This knife is almost like the spork of the gardening world!

The hori hori knife is great for digging, harvesting, and planting bulbs. This tool has a flat blade, serrated blade, twine cutter, hammer, ruler, and trowel all in one.

Those marks on the blade are each an inch part so you can gauge how deep you are digging

This knife isn’t only useful and well built, but it is also rustic looking. The dark color of the walnut handle really makes this hori hori knife stand out. I use my knife all the time in the garden for harvesting, planting, pruning, and digging.

Corona Hand Pruners

Every gardener needs a good pair (or two) of quality hand pruners. During the summer I use pruners on an almost daily basis, so they need to be well built. Corona makes great hand tools and this is my favorite pair of pruners.

Corona started making pruners for the citrus industry in 1928, so they have been in the business awhile. I have bought many pruners that only last a year because they are not well built. This pair of pruners is mostly made from metal and will last for years.

The metal handles are covered in a red rubber grip that makes using this pruner easy. The blade is detachable and can be replaced when worn out! They really made this pruner with longevity in mind.

Gardening Books

During the winter when we can’t garden, us gardeners love to read about gardening! Here are just a few books that I think every gardener should have on their bookshelf.

Carrots Love Tomatoes is a classic gardening book about companion planting. I am constantly going back to this book to read more about companion planting. This book teaches you what to plant next to other plants to maximize your garden’s productivity and health.

Even though Carrots Love Tomatoes was first published in 1975, the information in this book is still relevant. This book helps you grow an organic garden with healthy plants.

The Seed Garden is the only seed saving book I have on my bookshelf. This book covers everything you need to know about seed saving and more. There is so much information in this book and I am always learning something new from it. It makes a great reference book for seed saving.

Vegetable Gardening for the Midwest is a great book for anyone living near the Midwest United States. This book lays out everything you need to do based on the month of the year. This is a really great for beginner gardeners to get them started with gardening; if he lives in the Midwest, this book would be a great addition to his bookshelf.

Bucket Tool Organizer

Having something to organize your gardening tools is almost a necessity. This bucket organizer slips over any round five gallon bucket with pockets for all your tools.

You can then carry this bucket into the garden, use it as a chair, fill it with produce or pulled weeds, and have all your tools handy.

Gardening Journal

I am always planning out the next garden layout or thinking how I can improve my garden. Having a place to write down all your thoughts and plans is so nice. This garden journal has areas to write lists, layouts, ideas, and even a page to catalog your seeds! This is great for any gardener.

Bend Soap

The Bend Soap Company makes goat milk soaps and other products all in the USA. I love their products because they have natural ingredients and they smell great! They have a great selection of scents for men and I love that their soap only contains five ingredients.

Gift Cards

I am always buying seeds and plants for my garden and I really enjoy picking out my own seeds. Getting a gift card to a local nursery or greenhouse would make the perfect gift. Here are a few online seed stores that I like to buy seeds from.

Seeds for Generations

This small family business located in Virginia offers heirloom seeds, bulbs, and sometimes plants. I have ordered seeds from them and they have done really well for me.

Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds

Any gardener who is into heirloom seeds knows this company’s name. They offer a great selection of rare and unusual heirloom seeds. Every year I make an order!

I hope you enjoyed this gardening gift guide for men and found a thing or two to get your gardener this year!
